one of my current favourite bands. the sheer intensity of most of their early material is really easy for me to get lost in thought while listening to, but i keep getting drawn back to the fact that their bassist and vocalist jeff smith didn't even use a microphone at shows around this era and you could still hear him.

a record label from goleta, california that's been releasing some really sick bands since 1990, and even had a quarterly zine running for twelve years. i honestly consider this label legendary, along with many others. hooray for weasel words.
